You Belong Here
Whether you grew up in the faith, are returning after time away, or are simply curious about what it means to be Catholic — our youth and young adult community is a place where you can belong, ask questions, and grow.
Rooted in the Jesuit tradition of finding God in all things, we believe faith is not just for Sundays. It shapes how we see the world, how we treat others, and how we find meaning in our lives.
Our community is led by Marcus Taylor, our Youth Minister, and supported by a team of dedicated young adult leaders and our Jesuit priests.

6:00pm every Sunday
The Sunday 6pm Youth Mass is the heartbeat of our young adult community. It's a vibrant, prayerful celebration with contemporary music, engaging homilies, and a warm community that gathers afterwards for fellowship. Whether you're a regular or visiting for the first time, you'll feel at home.
What to Expect
Fortnightly gatherings for teens
Our Youth Group is a safe, fun and faith-filled space for teenagers to connect, explore their faith, and build lasting friendships. Each gathering includes games, faith discussions, prayer, and social activities. Led by trained youth leaders and supported by our Youth Minister Marcus Taylor.
What to Expect
Monthly gatherings for 18–35s
The Young Adults Community is a vibrant group of Catholics in their 20s and 30s who gather monthly for faith, friendship and fun. Events range from dinner nights and social outings to faith discussions, service projects and Ignatian reflection evenings. It's a community where you can be yourself and grow in faith.
What to Expect
Sacramental preparation for Year 9–10
The Confirmation program is a journey of faith for young Catholics preparing to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation. Through weekly sessions, retreats, and community service, candidates deepen their relationship with Christ and the Church, guided by trained leaders and our priests.
What to Expect
Every Sunday
The Sunday 6pm Mass at St Mary's is more than a liturgy — it's a community. Contemporary music, thoughtful homilies, and a warm gathering afterwards make it the most vibrant Mass in the parish.
